No. You add prepaid credit in rupees and each call subtracts what it cost. There is no monthly fee, no minimum term and nothing recurring.
A call is refused with 402 insufficient_credit before any model runs if your balance would not cover it, so you cannot go into debt by accident. Top up and the next call goes through.
Every response carries its own cost in paise (usage.cost), the same in a stream, and the dashboard lists every call with its charge. If a price is unknown, nothing is charged.
Yes. A key can carry its own spending limit; when it is reached that key is refused with 402 key_limit_reached, while the account's other keys keep working.
